Top Tips

If you have book already you want to be made into a handbag or purse just send me picture and I will let you know if it's possible.

What you should know if you are thinking about getting a book specially to have made into a handbag or purse:

  • For commissions it has to be a hardback book

  • The design needs to be on book itself (not just the dust jacket)

  • The spine needs to be in good condition

  • The width of the spine will determine the overal size of the base

  • You need to be aware and accept there is a risk that the book will be irretrievably damaged despite my best efforts during the process of removing the pages.  If that happens I can only offer my apologies. Books published by Heron look lovely but are one of the ones that I would avoid.
